We boost gender equality... 

We know that in the nowadays societies, there are great imbalances between men and women in that regarding the exercise of their fundamental rights, and the equal access to opportunities which would allow them to improve their life quality. Due to this, we believe that it is important to promote social justice, the equitable redistribution of resources and the sustainable human development. Thanks to them, we can establish priorities in our actions related with gender equality and rights of women and girls.

Our specialization on the development of gender has allowed the communities in Africa, Latin America and Asia with which we work understand the existing importance of encouraging the capacities of men and women in an equitable way to achieve the maximum human development. 
          

Because of this, we point out our participation in different Agreements on Cooperation Development in Asia and Latin America from 2006, and in Africa in 2007, through which we pretend to booth gender equality in the societies with which we work. All of them focus their action in the improvement of opportunities and life quality of women, as well as in the promotion of political, socioeconomic and reproductive rights.

GENDER POLICY      

Due to our strong stake in gender equality, we have developed a strong gender policy in our fight to end with gender discrimination, which takes place in most contexts and spheres of both public and private life, and in both North and South.
